DIY?

As most of you all know, i am a fan of Christian Louboutin.. and my bb bought me my very first pair back in last year feb.. as my valentine's day gift.. i kept it in the box for at least a couple of months before i finally have the heart to wear it.. i mean what's the use of buying it and not wearing it? right? furthermore, my bb said if i don't wear the shoes then no more CLs for me! :(

Anyway, i've been wearing my loubie quite frequent.. to a wedding, clubbing, dinners and shopping.. the red sole is wearing off! i thought of bringing it to a cobbler and sticking a new sole on it BUT i doubt that they have a red sole.. mostly are blacks..

Then i did some research on a forum on 'how to take care of your louboutin'.. yes, there's a forum for fashionista and a special thread dedicated to all Louboutin lovers.. i found out that besides sticking a new sole, i can just spray 'plasti dip' @ synthetic rubber coating to the sole! yay!

It looks like brand new! wohoo! but then again, i have to keep spraying it as the rubber coating will come off when i walk in those shoe.. i know it's not a good solution but hey, it works temporarily.. until i can find a cobbler in kl who sells red sole OR maybe i should bring all my loubies to the cobbler in paragon, singapore for a new red sole! ;)

london shopping spree!

As you all know, we just came back from london not too long ago.. the weather was good.. cool and breezy.. the food was so-so.. fish and chips tasted almost the same as the ones we have here.. all i can say is the shopping was GOOD! XD

We went there with a medium luggage trolly bag and a small hand carry bag and came back the same too.. so, yeah i guess i'm NOT a shopaholic :p everywhere was having sales and it was like more than 50% off some of the items..

I ended up with a few things.. hehehe...

Besides the christian louboutin, i got another cheaper pair of heels which is made in brazil from selfridges.. altho it's cheaper than a louboutin but it still cost £85 =.=


Btw, have anyone came across NARS before? it's like MAC or bobbi brown.. it's not on our shores yet so i bought a blusher just for tryout :)

On our 1st day in london, we went to harrods at knightsbridge.. there i bought this for like £2, IF i'm not mistaken :-



And before we left london, i did some last minute shopping at heathrow's duty free shop.. hehehe..

For those who aren't shopaholic, you might not know what is CL.. hmmm.. i think i don't consider as one BUT i'm a shoe addict! hahaha..

Okay okay.. CL is short for Christian Louboutin.. who? you might ask..

Cutting the long story short

It has been awhile since i dreamt of owning a Louboutin.. it is just freaking expensive! plus this brand isn't in malaysia.. i actually found out that On Pedder, Singapore carries Louboutins not too long ago BUT i don't quite fancy the collections.. the SA told me that will be a stand alone Christian Louboutin boutique soon in Takashimaya, Singapore.. hence there might be some newer collections..

I waited and waited and waited......

FINALLY!





My heart was pounding so fast and i was drooling on the shoes when i first saw the boutique.. it was like i've arrived in heaven! seriously =.=

After maybe half an hour later, i walked out with my VERY 1st pair of Louboutin!! :D




You might ask, what's so great about them.. well i can tell you that the shoe is entirely HANDMADE.. yes, the cobbler cut the red sole, stitch it together, glue it and etc.. so yea, the shoes don't come cheap ;)

Personally i've to thank my bb for buying my dream shoe for me *muacks muacks* i'd NEVER be able to afford it.. UNLESS if i save up my ang pao money for at least 2 years.. hehehe..

My bb also is quite impressed with the shoe quality and he's not arguing that the shoe is not worth the price.. sooooooooo, yeah the quality is THAT good :)

Anyways, i'd wear it when i go shopping only.. i won't let the shoe to even go near the tar road :P
