how was your Valentines?

This year my Valentine's Day was... LEGEND... waitforit... ARY! haha..

As what my previous post stated, i spent the special day with my BFF of 15 years and counting.. we actually planned this trip in January.. we took a short drive of 1.5 hours up North to reach our destination!

Can you guess where? hehe..

Well.. we went to The LOST WORLD of TAMBUN!!!

We were really excited about this trip as it was the 1st trip just the both of us for 2014 :)

We prep ourselves before we hit off to Ipoh..

Our first stop was to B & L (Ben & Lynette)

Verdict

Creme brûlée - i had better ones

Pizza - ok, not awesome

Pasta - sauce not too rich and creamy (which i like) BUT the spaghetti wasn't al dente 

After our lunch, we headed straight to the LOST WORLD.. room wasn't ready YET at 1pm and we had to wait for another 2 hours so we walked across to the theme park

After the tiger FEEDING show, we went back to the hotel to check in and quickly changed to our bikini! :)

Headed back out to the 'beach'

After taking some photos, we went to rent a locker and stuffed everything inside.. we went for the water slides.. 

When we were done, it was time to cam-whore!

At night, we went back again to the water park.. this time was for the hot spring..

The moon on Valentine's day was particularly round and bright

The next day, we checked out by 12.30pm and headed out for dim sum!

Next stop was for 'tau foo fan' @ bean curd jelly.. it was a drive thru.. the guy will come to our car to take orders, we ate in the car, return the bowl and drive off

We also bought the famous curry chicken in bread

Overall i had an AWESOME Vday.. who says we need a bf? :P hahaha

a hen's trip?

I just came back from my 3rd trip from Bangkok, Thailand! my 1st and 2nd trip was last year.. now i really MUST emphasize again that... i WILL travel to bkk yearly!!

Anyways, this time i went with my girl friends.. one of them will be getting married in 2 months hence we decided to go bkk.. where else can we get cheap booze, great shopping and nice massages? :P we all bought our airtix and accommodation last year and we've been waiting anxiously for the trip.. it was a 4D3N hen's trip!

We flew with MAS and we each had 37kg including hand carry.. it was an awesome flight.. and we got in flight entertainment, food and wine :D

Guess which one is my luggage.. hahaha..

After we landed, we went straight to the hotel to check in.. we stayed at Le Fenix which is on sukhumvit soi 11.. the nearest BTS station is Nana.. we quickly refreshed ourselves and headed out again.. to Platinum Mall..

We spent about 4 hours shopping and then headed to Supanniga Eating Room for dinner

Then we stopped by The Iron Fairies but we weren't allow to go in as we all were in our sandals! haha..

Since we can't go in, we went to a bar nearby.. Wine Republic.. and we had wine and chatted..

I am not a fan of red so i ordered white, Yellowtail

The next day we went Terminal 21

Jaspal was on 60% sale and i only bought a pair of shorts :(

Me and my friend went to visit the toilets on each floor.. why? well coz each floor has a different country theme!

Starting from the LG floor, it is Caribbean..

Then G floor, it is Rome

M floor, it is Paris

1st floor, Tokyo

2nd floor, London

3rd floor, Istanbul

4th floor, San Francisco (city)

5th floor, San Francisco (pier)

After Terminal 21, we adjourned to Water Library @ Chamchuri Square for our lunch

It was fine dining BUT the price wasn't too bad.. lunch menu created by chef miro keller

We all ordered 2 course which is 890baht

The croissant, hard bread and truffle butter were AWESOME!

After our lunch, we went to Siam Paragon and saw these beautiful scooters by Yamaha

Massage is a MUST in Bangkok.. so we went to Health Land for a good 3 hours massage (foot and body)

For dinner, we went to Thai Lao Yeh

Instead of flowers or candles as center piece, they have fresh cabbage and veggie for us to eat

After dinner, we went back to hotel for a quick change, shower and time to hit the club! to celebrate with the soon to be bride

As for warm up, we had a bottle of champagne and a shot of tequila each of us

Like we all agreed, what happened in Bangkok stays in Bangkok.. so yea, i can't tell :P sorry... hahaha

The next day we all managed to drag our asses up in the morning for the Chatuchak market! i was there for 4 hours and i took a cab back to the hotel and slept.. too tired and sleepy..

By 6pm, we all got ready and went out for dinner.. our last dinner in bkk..

We went to Cabbages & Condoms.. yes, it is a restaurant and i do not know how these two items are even related :P

Instead of giving sweets or wet tissues when they give out the bill, they gave us condoms! safe sex ppl!

This was what greeted us when we walked out.. yes, more condoms! hahaha...

Overall we had an AWESOME trip.. i love going to Bangkok.. for the food, shopping and massages

Although i didn't shop much, but i still enjoy my trip..
