eubiq?

Not sure if you've heard of Eubiq but i came across this when i was shopping with Russ at Ace Hardware for Armanee.. so it was like ages ago.. we were interested to install it but t was too late as our contractor at that time already installed the switches and power outlets..

Recently, i found out that Eubiq came out with a nicer and sleek design for their adaptors.. and i have to get it!

Wondering what is Eubiq? before you start to google it, Eubiq is 'The World's Most Flexible Power Outlet System'

How flexible you would ask.. well let me show you some pictures

This is how we usually organise our plugs.. the more conventional basic way

This is Elepod, it can support up to 7 outlets and it has a built in surge protector.. also in the set it comes with 3 classic adaptors..

This is a premium USB adaptor

Just slot it into the power track

Turn it to 45 degrees

And TA DAH! the LED blue light will light up when it is on

Recently i've just purchased an Iphone 5 and yes, it is so much better than my old BlackBerry.. especially the camera and apps! :)

whiteBerry?

Ever since the BlackBerry becomes popular and people started raving about it, i've secretly wanted to get my hands on it.. but due to the stupid dummy phone at maxis, i can't access to the real phone to test it out..

Then as my friends got themselves a BB (mostly bold 9700), i'd asked them to tell/show me how does a BB works.. i fell in love after that.. i went home and googled the phone, it comes in black only :( hence many people (especially the girls) would zhng (to decorate) their BBs with colorful diamantes..

Since it comes in black only, so i'm not really keen to get it.. plus my trusty nokia E71 hasn't fail on me yet.. then a few months ago as i was browsing the web, i got to know that the BB will come in white! YAY!

So i waited and waited.. after a few months, i saw one of my friends on FB is selling the white BB.. my patience paid off! haha.. i messaged him instantly.. found out the price, got a nod from russ for approval to buy and then COD a few days after that..

Although the camera is only 3.2MP but i can tell you that the picture quality is soooooooooooooo much better than the E71..

I've changed from prepaid to postpaid and took the BB plan from maxis.. i know that there's better plans out there but since i still want to keep my number, i got no other choice.. my plan is rm50 for calls, extra rm8 each month for sms-es (as i'm a sms person) and rm120 for the BB plan (data usage)..

It has only been 2 weeks since i bought the BB and now i can't live without it! it's addictive! uploading pictures has never been easier.. just snap and upload.. i used to snap with my camera, transfer to my laptop, edit and upload..

And i can keep in touch with russ so much easier :D way before i got my E71, i can only check my emails when i'm at home.. then with the E71, i can check my FB and emails.. but it was quite expensive as i was still using prepaid.. i had to constantly access to my email to check if russ had reply my emails or not.. BUT with the BB, i'd get a 'ping' every time i get a new email! so basically now, i can reply russ's email right after he sent it to me.. and if i'm lucky enough, he'd reply me instantly too! :)

Well, it has a good side and the bad for the 'push email' function.. the bad side is that it drains the BB's battery quite fast :( to tackle this problem.. i got myself a car charger! hehe..

SO, anyone out there has a BB too? we can BBM each other ;)


ps: i've never been an iphone fan so i won't be getting the new iphone 4.. russ asked me why don't i want the iphone.. well, i want to keep my nails long! :p plus i'm not a fan of touchscreen too :D

mini iphone?

When apple first introduced the iphone, i was so excited.. coz it looks FUN! but secretly i wished the iphone could be smaller and slimmer.. before my bb bought me my nokia E71, i was considering of waiting for the 3G iphone and the HTC Touch HD.. BUT alas, i got the E71.. why? coz i realized that it's quite a hassle for me to use a touch screen phone as i like to sms while driving! hehehe.. it's just so much easier if i get a phone with a keypad.. preferably with a qwerty keypad :)

Somehow, someone out there... in china, heard my wish.. they came out with a mini iphone! hahaha... my bb bought 2 of it when he was in batam, indonesia.. he said it's cheap.. only rm400 each..

There's absolutely NO way you can type a sms with your finger.. not even with your pinky.. look how small the buttons are! you definately need a stylus.. hahaha..


But you can make phone calls easily tho ;)

I actually love the size and the cute-ness of the phone BUT once again, the keypad is just ridiculously small =.=

Oh yea, this mini iphone has something which the real iphone doesn't have.. the mini iphone has an external... TV ANTENNA! yeah, man.. you can tune in to watch RTM1, RTM2, TV3, NTV7 and 8TV.. just no astro yah.. LOL!!

Anyone wants to buy it? my bb can get it for you :)

phone?

I just realize that for the past 1 month, the things that my bb bought for me are mainly white (read my previous post) well, white is a nice color but it's really hard to maintain and keep it clean..

Anyway, few weeks ago, my old phone started making funny noise whenever i talked on the phone.. hence we went phone scouting and i did some research online.. i fell in love with the nokia e71 when i saw 1 of my friends are using it.. so i went to a forum and found a guy who are selling the original zitron nokia e71 for almost rm400 cheaper than the nokia shop.. i pm'ed the guy and found out that he has a kiosk IN giant, kelana jaya..

So my bb bought the e71 for me from the guy yesterday! :)

touch screen?

Well, it seems like everything now is on your fingertips! i mean from your iphone to htc to samsung omnia to ipod.. now HP already came out with a TouchSmart PC! it is their 2nd generation of the touchsmart pc..

Remember in january i blogged about the pc or mac? you can read it here.. since i got myself a MacBook ages ago and my bb prefers windows, then i think the HP TouchSmart PC is the right choice for our study room! hahahha...

I personally tried the TouchSmart and it's REALLY impressive! sigh.. wish i have one at home now :P~

a cf phone?

Finally someone has come out with a carbon fibre phone!! altho it's made from carbon fibre but still it weighs 150g *sigh* why??? even my phone weighs 94g only.. the 8800 carbon arte body is made from carbon fibre and titanium so isn't that supposed to be light???

The Nokia 8800 series has always been the 'expensive and stylish but not many functions' phone.. this is a collector's phone i must say.. so whoever who has USD1.6k to spare, you can get this phone by end of this year or probably early next year..

Just too bad i can't afford this and also the lousy 3.15MP camera is a turn off :P
