Jimmy Choo OR Manolo Blahnik?

Many people especially guys would be wondering who the heck is Jimmy Choo AND Manolo Blahnik.. well girls, educate them! but then i don't think many girls would know too.. haha.. okay, here's some info about them :-

Jimmy Choo
Was born in Penang, Malaysia in 1961 into a f
amily of shoe makers. He made his first shoe when he was only 11 years old. He attended Cordwainers's Technical College in London and the London College of Fashion.

All Jimmy Choo Couture shoes are hand-made, his unrivalled craftsmanship is demonstrated with obsessive attention to detail. Jimmy Choo Couture Shoes compliment the very finest designer clothing.

Jimmy Choo's style is always elegant, feminine and occasionally seductive. Jimmy Choo Couture shoes were favoured by the Princess of Wales, who would buy one style in several colours for evening wear and to coordinate with her day suits. Jimmy Choo lost count of the number of shoes he made for Princess Diana. After the separation she could frequently be seen in his delicate high-heeled shoes, a style that she could not wear when walking with her shorter husband.

isn't this piece beautiful? it's simple and pretty *drool*

Manolo Blahnik
Born in Santa Cruz de la Palma in the Canary Islands in 1942, Manolo Blahnik was brought up there on the banana plantation owned by his Czech father and Spanish mother. He and his younger sister Evangelina were educated at home rather than being sent away to school.
The family often travelled to Paris and Madrid, where his parents ordered clothes from his mother’s favourite couturiers, like Cristobál Balenciaga, and his father’s tailor. Sometimes his mother improvised and she persuaded the local Canary Islands cobbler to teach her how to make Catalan espadrilles from ribbons and laces. Manolo loved to watch her making them.

Throughout the 1970s and 1980s Blahnik concentrated on mastering the techniques of shoe-making by finding the best possible factories to work with and studying them carefully. The process of creating a Manolo Blahnik shoe begins with Manolo sketching it at home in Bath, his London office or one of his northern Italian factories with a Tombo Japanese brush pen in thre
e minutes of “firm, assured hand movements followed by precise, sharp little jabs as the details are fitted in”. He then takes up to a day to carve the last – usually from beechwood – and then sculpts the the heel, which is carved first on the machine, then chiseled and filed by hand. When Blahnik is satisfied, an aluminium mould is made of the last and then the plastic last from which the shoe will be made.

Stilettos are like diamonds.. girls' best friend.. although there's some studies showing that stilettos are not good for health, but... oh well.. what the hell.. it makes a woman feel sexy wearing it.. more confident and it also gives that S body shape that we always wanted.. for me, i'd settle for no less than 3 inches of stilettos..

Right now, i can't afford any shoes from Jimmy Choo AND Manolo Blahnik.. a Choo will cost me about USD 400 at least.. darn! but the good news is that Jimmy Choo will open his first shoe shop in Singapore and the next one will be in Malaysia (early next year) keeping my fingers cross.. i'd want to own my OWN Choo! hehe.. which means i gotta work harder and find the extra money for it..

All i could afford now is just Vincci shoes! stacks of them.. from sandals to 4 inches stilettos.. haha.. keeping most of it in my car boot.. don't you dare to steal my shoes.. i have my Viper alarm to protect them.. muahahaha...

modified cars, anyone?

In 2001, came out a movie which has become my favourite movie of all time.. since i'm a car lover, so the movie has got to do with cars! yup, it's the "The Fast and The Furious"

This is the synopsis for the movie :-

The Fast and the Furious takes you inside the thrilling world of street racing. Vin Diesel stars as Dominic Toretto, a gang leader who is accused of hijacking trucks and stealing over a million dollars worth of electronic equiptment. The FBI sends LAPD officer Brian O'Conner(Walker) undercover into Los Angeles' street racing circuit to take down Toretto and his team. As O'Conner becomes part of Toretto's life and gets involved with his sister, Mia (Brewster) he tries to prove that Toretto is innocent.

Then in 2003, came a sequel of the first movie which is "2 Fast 2 Furious" BUT it's totally un-related.
So below is the synopsis for it :-

Paul Walker returns in this action filled sequel to 2001's The Fast and the Furious. Brian O'Conner (Walker) has left LA due to his illegal actions from the first movie and now soars the streets of Miami making money here and there by street racing. Watched by Customs Agent Monica Fuentes(Mendes), Brian is caught by the police and is given a deal by Agent Markham and Bilkins to go undercover and try to bring down drug lord Carter Verone (Hauser)in exchange for his criminal record to be erased. Brian agrees but only if he is given permission to choose his partner. Brian heads home to Barsto, Arizona where he recruits an old friend Roman Pearce (Tyrese)to help him. Pearce agrees but only for the same deal Brian was offered. With the help of Monica, Brian and Rome work together to take down Verone.

And after 3 years of waiting, TA DAH! the recent "The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift".. this time the movie is even better.. just ignore the whole storyline or the characters development thingy, just focus on the cars.. such beauties.. *drooling* the action are superb! now i wanna learn how to drift.. anyone, can borrow me his car to crash? haha..

Okay, here's the storyline :-

Sean Boswell, who has always been an outsider. A loner at school, his only connection to the indifferent world around him is through illegal street racing -- which has made him particularly unpopular with the local authorities. To avoid jail time, Sean is sent out of the country to live with his dad in the navy, in a cramped apartment in a low-rent section of Tokyo. In the land that gave birth to the majority of modified racers on the road, the simple street race has been replaced by the ultimate pedal-to-the-metal, gravity-defying automotive challenge ... drift racing, a deadly combination of brutal speed on heart stopping courses of hairpin turns and switchbacks. For his first unsuccessful foray in drift racing, Sean unknowingly takes on D.K., the "Drift King," with ties to the Yakuza, the Japanese crime machine. The only way he can pay off the debt of his loss is to venture into the deadly realm of the Tokyo underworld, where the stakes are life and death.

Drag or drift? if i were to choose, of course drift.. these 3 movies are just awesome.. the cars and the babes.. *sizzling HOT* if you think these 3 movies are totally not related, then you're wrong.. at least the 1st and the current movie are somehow related.. in a way.. *wink*

Haha.. am sure guys by now know that girls just love to pick up some clothes at a store and enter the fitting room to try em' on.. you just hate going shopping with your gfs, eh? taking a long time to make up their mind whether to buy or not..

Vrooooooooom.... CARS anyone?

Mater & Lightning McQueen

Yup.. it's the movie, CARS.. i totally enjoyed the movie yesterday at GSC 1Utama.. it was hilarious.. hehe.. to those who needs a good laugh shoould head over to the cinema now! go.. shoo shoo... hahaha..

Okay, here's the synopsis for the movie :-

Lightning McQueen, a hotshot rookie race car driven to succeed, discovers that life is about the journey, not the finish line, when he finds himself unexpectedly detoured in the sleepy Route 66 town of Radiator Springs. On route across the country to the big Piston Cup Championship in California to compete against two seasoned pros, McQueen gets to know the town's offbeat characters--including Sally, a snazzy 2002 Porsche, Doc Hudson, a 1951 Hudson Hornet with a mysterious past, and Mater, a rusty but trusty tow truck, who help him realize that there are more important things than trophies, fame and sponsorship.

Interested? watch the trailer then!

psst... Michael Schumacher lent his voice for this movie.. as the.. what else? of course a Ferarri

So after the movie at about 9.45pm, me and my friend went to Centre point McD for dinner.. it was a late dinner.. just opposite us, there were 4 guys.. one of them is balding and the other is plump.. they were talking about some geeky stuff UNTIL a plump indian girl came in to order her food.. then they started to stare at her and went "OMG!" they were talking about her and then laughing out loud.. i was like ignoring them BUT they went too far.. they were talking about her layers of fat and they kept on staring at her and talking about her even after she left McD.. WTF! as if they're like some CK models.. they DON'T even have the average guy look.. i overheard them talking about her as a
hippopotamus! i seriously pity the girl.. in my heart, i wish that those guys would have BIG FAT wives! i don't look down on some big size girls.. they're beautiful in their own way..

Why can guys be so MEAN? does size really matters? to me, those guys that i met at McD, they're just plain bastards.. are there any more good sincere honest guys out there? who would not mind how a girl looks like? i know that when i got up from my table at McD and walked to the door, they were looking at me as well.. i know they were talking some bad things behind my back.. as if i mind coz they're ASSHOLES! but i do get pissed off by these kind of guys.. pluzeeeeeee.. look into the mirror before judging anyone! AND you have NO FUCKING right to judge anyone too!
