Yesterday after work, me and mimi went to Fahrenheit 88 (the old KL Plaza) which is just across pavilion to attend the newly open bodyshop outlet and the launching of their new fragrance, dreams.. we were served with finger food and drinks..
I got no camera with me but i managed to snap a few shots with my BlackBerry :-
The girl with the harp
There was a tarot card reader too and we both went for it.. i won't reveal what i asked BUT the reading is so accurate! couldn't believe it
We were all given a voucher worth rm88 to shop! wheeee~ so i bought all these! :-
3 bottles of shower gel, 1 lychee edt and a pink loofah! i only had to top up an extra rm26! :D
Anyway, besides all the shopping.... we bumped into Marina Mahathir :)
ps: tonight going for food tasting at the muse restaurant and bar, jaya 1

7aste?
Sorry for the lack of updates.. well it's coz i've been busy working AND going out :P
Anyway, i was invited to the 7aste on the 8th oct at ecoba by tim chew
So, being the MHB i gotta whipped out my camera and start clicking away!
It was quite packed when i arrived
The DJ console
The performances
The casino game which i couldn't win! :(
So i decided to drown myself with a pint of beer~ hahaha.. just kidding
Overall, the event was okay.. maybe coz i didn't have a bunch of friends with me.. so i didn't really enjoy myself.. the carlsberg and champagne were freeflow all throughout the night ;)
Bet you wish you were there, right? ;)
Here's a picture of me and the lovely sweet erica :-

brotzeit?
fyi: psssst, this is a non-halal post.. don't say i didn't warn ya :P
Yes! brotzeit is in town now! it's located at midvalley.. same row as chilis, maybank and starbucks..
Last night i went there to have my dinner with a couple of friends.. although it was packed, we managed to get a table.. well, gotta thank my 'waiter' to put a reserve tag for us ;)
My 1st paulaner @ brotzeit
Aaaah~ the sausages menu
Anyway, THIS is my 'waiter' for last night :-
Okay, okay.. he's NOT just a 'waiter'.. he's the Director of brotzeit.. see, who says a Director of a company won't mingle around with the crowd? :P
So, i asked my 'waiter' what's HIS recommendation.. he told me his personal fav, hence i took his advice and.. here are our dishes!
The pork knuckle! *yum yum* worth the 20mins wait
The mix sausages platter *double yum yum*
And the spicy pork pizza! *droolz*
According to my friend, he said the food here taste much more nicer than the one in singapore.. hmmmm, i wonder if it's true ;)
Like i said i'm NOT a beer person BUT i think i've develop a soft spot for it.. oh no, i hope i won't get the beer belly >.<
I had 3 glasses of paulaner last night BUT definitely i can't beat this guy!! o.O
The 3 litre beer =.="
I'd definitely be back to brotzeit again.. would love to try on other dishes as well ;) AND where is my 'waiter'???? *snap snap finger*

never ending events?
Before i start blogging about my 1st event attending as a member of 'Malaysia's Hottest Bloggers', i'd like you to see if you could spot me and mimi in the photo below :-
We are on Harper's Bazaar october issue! haha.. anyways, it's from the Guess event that we attended :)
Okay, back to the topic.. yes, i've been attending events lately.. with mimi and sometimes alone :'( BUT then i made new friends! ;)
I just DO NOT know why i've been selected by Mr. Tim Chew (former FHM marketing and freelance writer) to join the MHB's group.. i know, most of you all would be like... what the....? yes yes, i know i'm not THAT hot compare to so many bloggers out there.. like it or not, you gotta accept the fact :P
Yesterday after my work, i had to attend an event at BonTon, lot10.. free flow of Jaz Fresh beer all night for ladies.. i was quite early to arrive..
After registration, the photographer asked me to pose with the beer banner.. he said 'okay, now give me 4 poses'.. i was like... what the...? i'm not used to pose in front of the camera.. the photographer ended up showing me HOW TO POSE! LOL! i guess practice makes perfect ;)
Personally i'm not really a fan of beer.. as i'm afraid of the beer belly AND beer is bitter! anyhow, when i took a sip of Jaz Fresh, it's not bitter at all! it's smooth and it gives you the.. well, icy cold fresh feeling..
Look at the cute lil' canister
Apparently what makes this beer special is that, it has live yeast in it! yeap, live... and oh, this beer local.. you can't get this beer anywhere in 7-11 or supermarket.. only selected places like BonTon, Lot10 and Moe the cafe, sunway giza.. it's coz, as it contains live yeast it has to be consume within 7 days.. and if there are leftovers, they will throw the beer away! seriously...
Before i end this post, here's a group picture from last night (courtesy of tim) :-
ps: i too attended the sergio rossi A/W 2010 collection with mimi.. read it all about it here

The first event i attended with mimi was the MTV world stage, then the launching of the Guess jeans collection and recently the Raoul A/W collection 2010..
And today, i'll be attending sergio rossi event with.... none other than MIMI! :) can't wait..

originality?
Where's the originality?? come on.. how many more versions do we need?
Remember when the movie 'shutter' first hit the cinema 6 years ago?
It was scary, right?
Then in 2008, hollywood decided to do a remake of it :-
It was lousy..
And NOW, guess what.. bollywood is making a remake version out of it too! but this time it's call 'click'! LOL!!
Now, since everyone of us know that hindi movie is famous for its singing and dancing.. so... how scary can this movie be? will the ghost be singing and dancing too? *rofl*

how did i do it?
Remember the time when i blogged about 'new changes'? i've changed my lifestyle and my food intake.. some people are quite skeptical whether if i could do it or not.. well, here's a photo of my weighing scale :-
Many people asked me how did i dropped from almost 60kg to 53.6kg in 2months plus.. it's not a BIG number but it's good enough for me.. i have become more confident in myself, sex-ier AND able to fit into my old clothes better..
How did i do it?
First of all, i don't have a sweet tooth.. which helps.. coz i don't crave for chocolates, ice cream, cakes, donuts and sinful food.. but i still do eat it once in a blue moon..
Secondly, i've almost stop eating fast food.. ok ok, yes i still do but once a month :P
Thirdly, i'd opt of subway sandwich rather than mcD or ramli burger or a hotdog.. my fav subway sandwich is turkey breast with lettuce, cucumber, 1 slice of cheese and oil & vinegar.. often i will have this as either my lunch or dinner
Recently i've added kiwi fruits into my diet.. it's yummy and i can have 3 - 4 kiwi at one go..
I used to not take any salads.. i do eat vegetables, don't get me wrong but only cooked ones.. but now, i'd replace fries with coleslaw whenever i can..
I still indulge myself occasionally in chips, pizza, pasta, fries and etc BUT in a moderate portion..
Anyway, i've managed to shed the kgs, lose my love handle and no more double chin as well ;) my dress size is a small now.. size 4! wohoo! but still i have a long way to go..
Gotta tone up my thighs, arms, abs and hips :D

motivation?
What is your ambition in life? what drives/motivate you to achieve that ambition? for me it's simple.. the finer things in life..
I can say that i'm no longer the same person 4 years ago.. things changed, people change.. i don't get all teary eye when i watch a sappy love story movie or hear some lovey dovey romantic songs.. the things that happened in your life makes you change and grow up.. snapping you out from your fantasy/fairytale world and sucking you into the reality..
I grew up wanting things which i can't afford.. but i've always settled and be contented with the things that i can afford.. but now, i'm not.. i want things which i've always dream off.. i no longer want to settle anything lesser than what i want.. and i want to try my best to fulfill MY wishlist MYSELF.. as that will give me a big huge self satisfaction..
My wishlist consists of :-
- a studio apartment overlooking the KL view, either be at KLCC area OR right above pavilion as shopping makes me happy
- a wardrobe full with herve leger
- a walk in closet of louboutins
- a jewelery box fill with my fav pieces of jewelery from van cleef, blvgari, cartier and etc
- a few of hermes birkin
- traveling of course
- and dine in the finest restaurants
I want to have it all and i want to achieve it by myself
*fingers crossed*
But for now, my aim is to drop a dress size.. from a size S in herve leger to an XS

herve leger?
"Herve Leger, sometimes written as Hervé Léger, is a fashion house founded by the designer currently known as Hervé L. Leroux
Leroux pioneered the creation of the "bandage" or "body-con (body-conscious)" dress, using materials traditionally associated with foundation garments to create dresses that would mold and shape the wearer's figure with its signature bandage-like strips
In September 1998, Herve Leger was acquired by the BCBG Max Azria Group from the Seagram's Group. This was the first-ever acquisition of a French couturier by an American designer" from wikipedia
Thanks to mimi, i got to know about this designer and the dresses are super awesome!
Check this out :-
Okay, okay.. i know.. i need to have a super sexy body to pull this dress off..
Well, hey.. i've lost almost 5kgs already.. so i think i deserve to get this dress so that i'd be more motivated to lose more weight and to tone up! ;) right? haha
